Abhimeet Sinha has more than 20 years of post-qualification legal experience and heads firm’s reputed Project Finance and Infrastructure (Roads, Railways, Ports, Highways) practice. The Infrastructure practice includes drafting/reviewing of the Bid Documents, the transaction documents such as the Concession Agreement, Power Purchase Agreement, Transmission Service Agreement, Share Purchase Agreement, Implementation Agreements, State Support Agreements, Escrow Agreement, EPC contracts, Operation & Maintenance Agreements, licenses and other ancillary documentation, structuring of the transaction from the legal and regulatory perspective, legal advice on risk allocation and mitigation and review of the bankability of the project structure, etc.
Abhimeet has advised both the borrowers and the lenders in connection with legal and regulatory framework governing the project finance transactions, due diligence, drafting, and negotiation and vetting of loan and security documents, including ECBs, inter-creditor issues, complex security structures and general corporate issues, FEMA advisory, etc.
